Privacy Policy

How LearnHub collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data LearnHub collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It applies to this website and to every programme we run.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and profile photo, provided when you sign up.
  • Contact details: your phone number, when you book a career service or apply to a job-guarantee programme.
  • Payment records: the amount, the UPI transaction reference number, and the payment screenshot you upload. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, bank password or any other credential.
  • Career information: your current role, years of experience, current and target salary, LinkedIn profile and resume — but only if you apply to a job-guarantee programme or a career service.
  • Learning activity: which courses you are enrolled in and your enrolment status.
  • Anything you choose to send us, such as a Hall of Fame success story or an email enquiry.

3. Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

  • To create your account and give you access to the courses you have paid for.
  • To verify your payment and activate your enrolment.
  • To quote a job-guarantee fee, which is calculated from your experience and your current and target packages.
  • To deliver career services such as a resume review or profile makeover.
  • To contact you about your batch, your application or your booking.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Salary and career data

Your salary figures are commercially sensitive, and we treat them that way. They are used to calculate your programme fee and to target the right roles for you. They are visible only to our admin and placement team, and are never published, shared with other students, or given to an employer without your explicit consent for that specific application.

5. Who we share it with

Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not share your data with anyone else except where the law requires it.

  • Clerk — handles sign-up, login and account security. Clerk stores your email, name and profile photo.
  • Neon — hosts our database, where your enrolments, payments and applications are stored.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and processes requests.
  • UploadThing — stores files you upload, such as payment screenshots and resumes.
  • Hiring partners — only for job-guarantee candidates, only the profile details needed for a specific application, and only with your consent.

6. Email enquiries

When you email us at learninghub.queries@gmail.com, we use that correspondence to answer questions, confirm payments and coordinate sessions. Please do not send us passwords, card details or UPI PINs — we will never ask for them.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account and enrolment records: for as long as your account exists, and afterwards where we need them for accounting or legal reasons.
  • Payment records: as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
  • Payment screenshots: deleted periodically once the payment has been verified and the relevant refund window has closed.
  • Job-guarantee applications that do not proceed: deleted on request, and otherwise after two years.

8. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are handled entirely by Clerk and never reach our servers. Access to student data in the admin panel is restricted to accounts we have explicitly granted an admin role.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Your rights

To exercise any of these, email learninghub.queries@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong — you can also update most details yourself from your account.
  • Ask us to delete your account and personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Withdraw consent for us to share your profile with hiring partners, at any time.
  • Object to how we are using your data, or ask us to restrict it.

10. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

11. Children

Our programmes are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date above. Material changes affecting current students will also be communicated directly.
